The first ring I made under my own name.

A 1.09 carat marquise lab diamond, E color, VS1, GCAL certified, set in 14K yellow gold with two round turquoise cabochons flanking the center stone.

I drew the piece and revised the proportions before anything was cast: the scrollwork across the shoulders, the milgrain detailing, how high the stone sits off the finger. Then it was cast, set, and finished by hand.
